Boo arrived in the care of SDR when her and another female in the home started to have disagreements.
Boo has settled into kennels well and has started to show off her cheeky character.
Boo has a good appetite and is currently being fed twice a day on a dry food without any meat mixed in.
She enjoys her time outside in our enclosed exercise runs and will play fetch with a tennis ball.
We have tested Boo with other dogs and we feel she could potentially live with a calm, male dog. She didn’t take to kindly to a young boisterous male dog who jumped on her playfully, so she will tell off dogs if she doesn’t like their boisterous nature.
Boo already knows a few basic commands, but she is eager to learn and engages well with her handler, looking for direction.
We are building Boo’s exercise up gradually as she has a slightly odd gait when she walks, which has been checked by the vet. At present we are exercising her for 20-30 minutes and this can be increased gradually until she is able to do 1 hour at a time.
Boo could live with 1st time dog owners, providing they enrolled her into training classes.
She has been previously left for up to 4 hours with no issues.
In a home with direct access to a secure garden, Boo will make a wonderful addition that will make you laugh on a daily basis as she is such a little character.
Can you offer this lovely girl a loving and permanent new home?
