Ruby arrived in our care through no fault of her own and has settled in beautifully after having spent the last 4 years approximately living on the streets. She is incredibly clean in her kennel and always happy to approach the door when you walk past or enter the kennel. She is a very affectionate girl and loves to have a fuss from people.
Ruby knows some basic commands and will eagerly carry these out especially if there is a tasty treat on offer. Ruby would enjoy spending time with her new owners, bonding and being taught new commands to keep her brain stimulated.
Ruby is an active girl and has proven herself to be a great climber! So much so she can easily climb the chain link fencing in the exercise runs if she’s left unattended. Ruby will require a garden with a 6ft solid fencing. Ruby will enjoy going for nice walks with her new owners as well as playing in the garden with her toys.
Ruby has been mixed with other dogs and has responded well to them when she’s been on lead. She wasn’t overly keen when another dog ran into her and she did tell him off. She will enjoy walking with other dogs on lead and in time may even play with them. We feel Ruby would be better in the home as an only dog as she isn’t used to having to share space with other dogs.
In the right home, Ruby will make a loving addition to a home who have owned dogs previously.
Can you offer this lovely girl a loving and permanent new home?
