This incredibly handsome and playful young boy arrived in our care from a local pound. He was an unclaimed stray and we cannot work out why – he truly is wonderful and not to mention stunning! Indy was rehomed in August 2018, but unfortunately has been returned to us through absolutely no fault of his own.
Indy loves to run and has a lot of energy, but he also enjoys settling down on his bed once he’s had a good run or a walk. He would enjoy and benefit from having a good sized garden that he can race around in and play fetch with his tennis ball.
Indy also enjoys the company of other dogs; especially ones that enjoy a good run and game of chase. He can be a little playful for some dogs, so it’s important if living with another dog, that their energy levels and play style suit each other. We have found Indy to be worried by some dogs, but he tends to remove himself from the situation and will let us know when he is uncomfortable.
He thoroughly enjoys his food and has a very good appetite. He prefers to have meat mixed in with his kibble. He is gentle when taking treats from his handler and when given long lasting treats/chews, he takes them to his bed, settles down and eats them nicely.
Indy is very switched on, eager to learn and please his handler. He is motivated by treats, attention and his tennis ball. If owners invest a little time into his training, we have no doubt this bright young lad will pick things up very quickly.
In the right home, this fun and active young boy will make a truly wonderful companion to an active household.
Can you offer this lovely boy a loving and permanent new home?
