Yana and Lily arrived in the care of SDR after being found as unclaimed strays but were not found together. Both of them were rehomed seperately and have unfortunately been returned to us through no fault of their own. Since being returned they have become firm friends and have become very reliant on each other's company, so we feel it would be the best thing for them to be rehomed together. They have become a very bonded pair and can often be found sharing the same bed, snuggled up together.

Yana can be a little shy with new people at first but it won't take her very long before she shows you her sweet and affectionate side. When she is comfortable with her handlers, she enjoys getting lots of fuss and belly rubs. Lily can take a little more time to come around and can be very fearful when meeting new people - especially men. Yana helps Lily to bring out her confidence and once she trusts you, she is a very sweet and playful girl who loves to get attention and treats from her carers.

Lily and yana enjoy their time out in our enclosed areas and love nothing more than playing chase and doing zoomies together. Lily loves spending her time outside and will stay out playing zoomies and laying in the grass all day if she could! New owners will need to have a large, secure garden with solid 6 foot fencing to allow Yana and Lily the space they need to run and play to let out their excess energy.

Both girls have been dog mixed with various different dogs since they have been with us. Yana can be a little unsure at first, but if the other dog is calm and gentle with her she is happy to say hello and may occassionally invite the other dog to play. Unfortunately, Lily has had a bad experience with another dog while out on her walk and has since become extremely fearful of other dogs. She will keep as much distance as possible between her and the other dog and if they get too close, she will snap at them to tell them to leave her alone. Yana is the only dog that Lily seems to be comfortable with.

In a quiet home with patient owners who have experience with nervous dogs, Yana and Lily will be very sweet, playful and loving companions.

Can you offer these lovely girls a loving and permanent new home?
