Ace has settled in well since arriving here through no fault of his own. He has adjusted well to the daily routines. He has a good appetite and will normally finish his meal in one sitting and is currently on senior light as we feel he needs to lose a little bit of weight.
He is a happy go-lucky boy who likes to explore his new environment in his own time.
He loves getting attention and cuddles from his handlers and will occasionally play games with them but he is also quite happy to venture off on his own doing his own investigations.
He has been mixed with a few dogs and he is friendly and excitable when meeting but if there is a vocal dog he will bark back at them.
We would recommend that he lives with a calmer dog (male or female) that is not too fussed with playing all the time.
Ace seems to have only learnt the command sit but he has the potential to learn many more commands and would benefit from attending some basic training classes. He will need to learn a solid recall before being let off the lead when out in public as it currently does not exist.
He has a lot of energy and would also benefit from attending some agility classes or fly ball which will help him to focus his energy into something he will enjoy doing.
In the right home with owners who have had Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Ace will make a wonderful and energetic addition to the family.
Can you offer this lovely boy a loving and permanent new home?
