Annie is a sweet girl who adores attention from her handlers. She finds kennel life a little stressful and has shown to have a bit of separation anxiety when left alone in her kennel. When she is first left, she will become a bit vocal but after a few minutes she will settle down and take herself off to bed. Annie is very people orientated and would much prefer to be out and about with her handlers getting lots of fuss and cuddles. New owners will have to build up home alone time to allow her to settle.

Annie loves going out for her walks and will happily sit still and wait patiently for you to put her harness on. She can be very strong when on her walks, so new owners may benefit from doing some work with her lead walking skills.

When she is indoors in a calm environment, Annie's recall seems to be ok. However, when off lead in our outdoor enclosed areas, Annie can get a little stressed and overwhelmed when there are lots of things going on around her and her recall becomes non-existant. Due to her behaviour around other dogs and her insecurities in new environments, we would strongly advise that Annie be kept on a lead when out on her walks.

Annie is an intelligent girl and already has a few commands under her belt. When there are no distractions around, Annie works well for some high value treats and enjoys learning new commands. Teaching Annie new commands will be a great way for new owners to bond with her. Annie enjoys playing fetch with her handlers and will ocassionally join in a game of tug.

Annie has been mixed with other dogs since being with us and she has shown that she is not comfortable around them. Annie can be a little insecure around other dogs and will become defensive when invited to greet or play by another dog. Due to her behaviour around other dogs,we would be looking to home her as the only pet in the home.

For owners who have Staffordshire Bull Terrier experience and are willing to give her the time and attention she needs, Annie will make an active, fun and loving companion.

Can you offer this lovely girl a loving and permanent new home?
