Bella is a happy girl who loves getting attention and fuss from people, and will often bark at you for more. She arrived at SDR due to issues with the other dog in the home and since arriving has settled in well.

She is always excited to see her carers and loves going out for an explore and play in our enclosed areas. Her favourite toy of choice is definitely a tennis ball and she will always make a beeline for these first. She enjoys chasing after the balls, however hasn't quite realised that she needs to bring it back to continue playing.

Bella appears to only know 'sit', however she will happily work for a treat and continuing her training would be a great way for new owners to bond with her, as she will love the attention. She will also need some work on her recall before she is let off lead, as she will happily come back for some fuss but she can also be a little hit and miss especially if she is preoccupied with a tennis ball.

In the previous home Bella did live with another dog that then took a dislike to her. When we have mixed Bella with other dogs here at SDR, we have found she is a little nervous when meeting other dogs and can get a bit frustrated when meeting through the fence and she will bark a lot at them. However once we brought them into the same area, she calmed down and was a bit more friendly and allowed the other dog to say hello. She did have a little snap at a bigger dog when he went over her head and as such we would recommend she live with a calm dog of a similar size to her, that won't be too intimidating.

Can you offer this lovely girl a loving and permanent new home?
