More information about Dave

Dave has settled in very well since arriving with us here at Stokenchurch, he always welcomes the dog carers when they enter his kennel and enjoys a good fuss and cuddle. He is a friendly boy who loves attention from anyone and sometimes jumps up when he gets excited.

He requires a home with owners that have had had large bull breed experience before.

He is still young and has a lot to learn and would benefit from some basic training to improve on the skills/commands he already knows. He likes treats and will usually work better if a treat is involved. He will also need some recall training as he gets too excited if he sees another dog and may wander off when out walking.

When he is walked on a lead, he walks really nicely but occasionally he will put his size to use if he sees or smells something interesting.

When we have mixed Dave with other dogs, we have found he gets very excited and can be a bit too boisterous with the other dogs. We would recommend that he be the only dog in the home as he is quite a strong boisterous boy who will need some training and positive direction for his energy.

Dave is very friendly when meeting new people when out walking and can get a bit excited at first and he may need some basic obedience training to teach him not to jump up.

He could potentially live with children aged 14+ who have been around boisterous dogs before as he tends to jump up when he gets excited during playtime.

Dave is looking for a family who have had large bull breeds in the past as he can be a handful to begin with but after he has settled in he will make a great addition to the household.

Can you offer this lovely boy a loving and permanent new home?
