Marley was returned to SDR through no fault of his own. Marley has settled back into kennels well and has been placed on regular toilet breaks throughout the day as he is house trained and will not toilet in his kennel.
Marley is such an incredible, well behaved boy and all who meet him, fall in love with him. He already knows several commands such as sit, down, paw and wait. When Marley is playing or interacting with his handler, it’s like you are playing and interacting with a small breed as he is so gentle.
Marley loves playing with his toys and will chase after a ball. Using a ball when Marley is off lead is a great way to get him to return to you. He is also motivated by treats and lots of praise from his handler.
Marley has tested well with other dogs and is very playful and enjoys interacting with other dogs. Marley will initiate play with other dogs, but after a while he ends up laying down as his fitness isn’t quite what it should be.
Marley does need to lose a little weight as he is carrying an few extra kilo’s at present. Losing the weight and increasing his exercise gradually will help his fitness and stamina, so he will be able to enjoy longer walks with his owners.
In the right home, this gentle giant will make a wonderful, fun and loving addition to a home with some previous dog experience.
