Shira is a wonderful, young and super active girl that is looking for a home that can meet her needs. She is only 11 months at present, so cannot be walked for too long (55 mins) as there is a risk of damaging her growth plates. This time can be used for doing some basic training with her. This will also help tire her out as she's having to use her brain.
Shira currently knows sit, paw and stay. She is very intelligent and will thoroughly enjoy being taught new commands and tricks by her new owners. By spending time doing training with Shira, it will also help strengthen her bond with her new owners. Owners could even enroll her into training classes.
She loves playing with other dogs and could live with another active and playful dog pending a couple of successful dog mixes. Shira is currently kennelled with a male terrier with no issues and she puts up with his crazy behaviour in the kennel. She enjoys the company of another dogs and will enjoy making new doggy friends once she is home.
Shira, once she is fully grown she would enjoy doing additional activities such as agility, canicross or bikejor. She is a very active girl and will need more than just walks to burn her energy off. Her recall needs some work, so this is an area that new owners will need to focus on.
In the right home with people who have owned dogs before, Shira will make a wonderful addition.
Can you offer this lovely girl a loving and permanent new home?
