Meet Snoopy an energetic little Jack Russell who loves to go out on nice long walks and play his favourite game, fetch, which he could play for hours on end. Since being here at the centre Snoopy has settled in well and is now used to his new routine.
Meeting new people and Walking When it comes to meeting new people Snoopy is friendly but can be nervous. Snoopy likes to come up to you first and check you out. After his walk he will be happy for you to fuss him and maybe one or two treats. He walks well on lead but can pull a little at times, mainly because he likes to be ahead and loves to get his head down to the ground to sniff. Snoopy loves to go out and explore his new surroundings. He can walk past other dogs without reaction but if the other dog starts to bark that’s when Snoopy will start to bark back.
Dogs & Cats- We have done a few dog mixes here at the centre and have found that Snoopy prefers to have his own space. He can be reactive to dogs if they get too close, Snoopy will bark and bare his teeth in return, therefore he will need to be the only dog in the home. We have cat tested him with our resident cat Clove and Snoopy is good around her, although at times he can be scared of her. We feel that Snoopy could live with a confident cat, as long as the cat has lived with other dogs before and the cat has its own space.
Owners Experience- Snoopy is looking for his new owners to have had dogs before and for them to be active. He might be a small dog but he is a small dog with a lot of energy to burn off. Ideally, to have a home with a secure enclosed garden with minimum 5ft fencing, as he does love to play ball and could play all day and night if allowed.
Snoopy will need a minimum of two visits from everyone in the household.
The adoption fee for Snoopy is £250.00
