So how does it work…
You can choose either a 5K or 10K Walk to raise funds to help Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, while staying within government guidelines regarding social distancing/non-essential travel and only walk within the allowed groups. Then, if you wish, you can share your photos and videos to our FB page! Alternatively you can email us and we can share them for you.
Although we may not be able to physically walk together this year, we have decided to hold the Walk over a two week period - 29th March to the 11th April. You can choose what works best for you, either all in one day or spread over the two weeks!
We're counting on our supporters now more than ever to ensure we can continue to provide exceptional care to the dogs at SDR. This also means you can choose to walk in your own neighbourhood, at a local park, wood, at home on a treadmill or around your garden! Please click the link at the bottom of the page for a Sponsor Form on which you can log your Sponsor’s details. We have also attached a poster for the walk for you to display if you are able to.
All donations and sponsorship collected can be paid by cheque, or via PayPal. To enable us to claim an additional 25% via Gift Aid and can you please forward your Sponsor Form to the kennels.
Alternatively you could add a donate button to your FB page or even set up a Just Giving Fundraising Page using the link https://www.justgiving.com/stokenchurchdogrescue/raisemoney and selecting ‘Fundraise for us’.
Please pay PayPal donations to firstname.lastname@example.org (using the friends and family/someone you trust option) and in the notes box please add Sponsored Walk, your name, and email address.
Kindly let us know if you are walking so we have an idea of numbers and, at the end of the walk, let us know how much you have raised.
