Harvey is a truly amazing gentleman who arrived in our care back in June 2017. Sadly, shortly after arriving to us, Harvey injured his back chasing after a tennis ball.
With lots of TLC, rest, restricted walks and special exercises, Harvey is now ready and waiting to find his new forever home, and even through all of that, Harvey showed us nothing but love and affection.
Harvey is firm favourite, not just with the staff but with all the volunteers who have had the opportunity to spend time with him whilst he has been recovering.
Harvey really is something special and will be greatly missed when he goes off to his new home.
It’s important that Harvey’s new owners understand what he has been through and they will also need to ensure they monitor his exercise so that he doesn’t do anything silly when playing with his toys.
Harvey’s two favourite thing in the world are people and his toys – as long as he has that, he is happy.
Harvey will tolerate other dogs, he will walk past them, sniff them, but he does not like it when other dogs enter his space, or get in his face therefore, Harvey is looking for a pet free home (he doesn’t like cats).
Whoever decides to adopt Harvey is going to be adopting one of the most wonderful, loving dogs you could ever wish to meet. He puts a smile on the face of everyone he meets.
Can you offer this lovely boy a loving and permanent new home?
