Waitrose in Thame to help raise funds for SDR in April

Our fundraising for 2017 continues with good news from Waitrose.

Thanks to nominations by caring SDR supporters, Waitrose Thame have selected Stokenchurch Dog Rescue to enter the running for a share of £1,000 in the Community Matters collection for the month on April.

Customers visiting Waitrose in Thame will be invited to vote by placing a token in a container assigned to one of three charities and Stokenchurch Dog Rescue is one of those charities. The containers are located near to the checkouts and tokens are offered when you pay your bill.

Customers can vote each time they visit the two stores and the more tokens Stokenchurch Dog Rescue receive the larger the proportion SDR will receive of each of the £1,000 donations.

So even if you only need to buy a newspaper/chocolate bar and you happen to be in Thame please buy it from Waitrose and pop a token in the box for SDR.

We need you, your family, friends, colleagues and anyone you know to vote if they have the opportunity. Please spread news of this event to everyone you know.

Thank you to the caring supporters for the nominations and to Waitrose for this scheme.
