Background - Abbie & Chloe found themselves at SDR, as sadly their previous owner passed away. They have taken to their new routine here very well and have become another popular pair with the dog carers.
Personality & People - Both are a little wary when meeting someone for the first time. Abbie is a little more confident and she will no doubt be the first to greet you, Chloe will not be too far behind. Once happy in your company, this lovable duo's happy go lucky personalities come shining through. Abbie is the outgoing adventurous type, & Chloe is the "let's watch the adventurous one run around" type.
Dogs & Cats - Since being here the girls have met some of the other residents of SDR. They could potentially live with another dog of similar size, and calm nature (This would all be pending several successful dog meets held here at SDR).
Chloe & Abbie have also had the delights of meeting our resident cat Clove, and with this in mind they could not live with a cat. Abbie has a high prey drive and showed far too much interest in chasing Clove. This is also going to be the case of living with other small furries such as Rabbits etc.
Walking & Exercise - These girls love their walks and get rather excited at the prospect of going out. Both walk fairly well on the lead; Abbie is certainly the more enthusiastic and does have a tendency to pull/weave in any direction of her choosing. Chloe is a little more refined when walking with less pulling and more control of what she wants to have a sniff of next. When out they are not particularly fazed by passing traffic, the occasional large lorry may put them off their stride but it is soon forgotten about once gone.
Home Alone - Chloe & Abbie could be left up to four hours, this will need to be built up gradually. They will need letting out for toileting just before you leave and as soon as you arrive back.
Type of Home & Family - Chloe & Abbie are looking for a family that have lots of time for them. They do love their time outside playing as well as a good walk a couple of times a day. Minimum fence height is four feet, but this will need to be very secure with no gaps around the bottom as Abbie will no doubt find them and be off on an adventure into the neighbour’s garden.
They will require a minimum of two visits from everyone in the household before adoption.
The adoption fee for this delightful duo is £400.00
