Acorn Needs a Foster Home

Acorn is a 15-year-old Beagle mix looking for a special foster home where he can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

He is currently on medication for several age-related health conditions, including arthritis, dementia, and Cushing's disease. 

He may also not be toilet-trained, so he will need a foster home that can offer him patience, understanding, and ongoing support. 

What Acorn Needs in a Foster Home

• A secure garden
• Ideally, a Bungalow, or a home where he can’t have access to stairs
• A home where any children are aged 15 or over
• A pet-free home
• A home within 30 minutes of our vets (Crossroads, High Wycombe HP11), as regular visits may be required

What SDR Provides for Fosterers

• All food and essential supplies, such as bedding and toys
• All medication and veterinary costs covered
• Support from the Head of Rescue & Rehoming and the Centre Manager
• Guidance and ongoing help whenever needed
