About Chloe
Chloe is a 6-month-old Collie x Spaniel, a mix of two smart and energetic working breeds and she is very easy to fall in love with. She’s quick to learn, will thrive on having an active home, needing plenty of both physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy. Without proper training, she may find her own mischievous ways to stay busy which may not be most favourable.
Personality and People - With people she is very affectionate, sociable and loving, though she can be a little shy and unsure in certain situations; especially when around loud noises or being somewhere new. However, with reassurance and a gentle approach she recovers and builds confidence quickly, then her affectionate nature shines through. She likes nothing more than to hop onto your lap to curl up or climb on your shoulders to give you kisses.
Training and Exercise - She’s very eager to learn and is a typical collie cross that is highly motivated by food, toys, and attention. She would thrive with active owners that have had collie, spaniels or high energy dogs before. As long as they are able meet her needs with plans for challenging training, obedience and/or activities. Being young she will need to be taught the basics such as lead manners, learning how to settle, being left alone and house training, however, she has lived in a home before.
Dogs - She’s met a variety of dogs and is very friendly, playful and enjoys the company of other dogs but can be a bit full-on, so any resident dog should be patient with puppy energy as she can be a bit too much for some. However, dog mixes can be done here to see if it's a good match.
Type of Home and owners - The type of home she is looking for will be one with a secure garden, owners that are able to build up her time left alone as she can struggle with this currently which is typical for her age. If living with children she would suit calm older children as she can be quite jumpy when excited and also, occasionally timid having previously come from a very quiet single person household
The adoption fee for Chloe is £300.00
