If you are interested in adopting Harry, you will need to register your interest by filling in and returning one of our pre-adoption questionnaires.

If you live in rented accommodation, in addition to the completed pre-adoption questionnaire please include written permission from your landlord or housing authority, confirming that they are happy for you to keep a dog in the property. If you already have a dog/s the permission must state the number of dogs allowed – without this we cannot include the application.

Completed application forms and landlord permissions if applicable must be emailed to robyn@stokenchurchdogrescue.org.uk with ‘Harry’ in the subject bar or hand your completed form into reception.

Emails sent to other addresses will not be considered.

**Harry will not be available for viewing until he meets his potential adopter**

Selection process:

All applications received by the deadline stated below will be reviewed and the successful applicant will be invited in to meet Harry

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 20th May at 16:00 and the successful candidates will be contacted within 24 hours. Applications received after this time will not be included. The successful candidate must be available to meet for the first time on Saturday 23rd May at 13:30.  Please note due to the increase in applications for all dogs and limited resource we will not contact unsuccessful candidates or give individual feedback.

WHAT’S GREAT ABOUT HARRY?

• Happy boy who loves to go on  adventures
• Loves playing with his toys
• Has previous experience of living with a young child and child visitors.
• Could live with kids of ages 9+ as long as they are confident around large dogs who may jump up
• Has some basic training but this will need to be built on to make is response more reliable
• Goofy and will not fail to make you laugh
• Could live with another dog, provided they will tolerate a young, pushy dog around. As he is still entire (to be neutered at 18 months) females MUST to be spayed

WHAT HARRY NEEDS…

• Benefit from owners who have experience around larger breeds
• Owners who can provide much needed training, physical and mental enrichment
• Needs confidence building as Harry can find some new environments and experiences scary
• Ideally a home with access to a fully enclosed garden

The adoption fee for Harry is £300.00
