Minnie came in after a family member sadly passed. Initially she was a little shut down, but with time her cuddly and loving personality has emerged. She has some of the traditional Dachshund challenges and as such is looking for an owner with breed experience or experience of breeds with similar reactivity.

WHAT’S GREAT ABOUT MINNIE?

• Whilst a little wary initially, once trust is established she is a very happy, loving little dog who clearly enjoys seeing her people 
• Enjoys her treats and shows a good level of intelligence, accordingly is trainable 
• Her affectionate and sweet nature really shines through and she loves a cuddle, convinced she's a lap dog despite her long body!

WHAT MINNIE NEEDS…

• A Minnie-proof front door (e.g. babygate), to ensure she can be managed away from any visitors
• A quieter and calm home environment
• Idealy an owner with Dachshund breed-specific experience, or previous experience of dogs with similar behavioural issues in terms of reactivity

The adoption fee for Minnie is £250.00
