Young Tammy found herself in the care of SDR when she was handed in by a member of the public as a stray. Despite Tammy's difficult beginning, she has settled in very well to the routine here at SDR and is gaining confidence daily.

Tammy has not had the best start to life being dumped by the road. Fortunately for her, there are still some good people out there who brought her to SDR where she has found out that not all people are bad. She has settled in well despite lacking a little confidence to start (which is perfectly understandable) but she is now very happy to see the dog carers and will greet them with a wagging tail and a spring in her step.

Since being here she has made lots of new canine buddies and greets all of them with lots of enthusiasm. Tammy could possibly live with another dog of the same size and playful personality.
As mentioned previously, Tammy is nervous when she meets someone new, and her new family will have to take their time building her confidence in the big wide world. She is going to need lots of training and enrolling her in classes will be a good step forward. Once Tammy knows you, she can be very full-on, climbing up you, wrapping herself around your neck for attention. It’s going to be vitally important that her new family provide training and consistency.

This little pup has bags of energy and is looking for a family that will take her on exciting new adventures as she gets older. Everyone in the family must be on board to help Tammy with all the ups and downs that life has to throw at her. She is going to need plenty of time to adjust to her new home and leaving her alone will need to be built up gradually. She will need a home with a garden for her to explore and play, with a minimum fence height of 5 feet and secure all-round.

This little bundle of energy will require additional activities to further enrich her life, such as agility or flyball. She has a lot of energy to burn off, so providing her with structured exercise and an outlet for this energy will enable Tammy to live a well-rounded life.

Tammy will require a minimum of 2 visits from everyone in the household ahead of the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Tammy is £275
