If you are interested in adopting Tucker, you will need to register your interest by filling in and returning one of our pre-adoption questionnaires.

If you live in rented accommodation, in addition to the completed pre-adoption questionnaire please include written permission from your landlord or housing authority, confirming that they are happy for you to keep a dog in the property. If you already have a dog/s the permission must state the number of dogs allowed – without this we cannot include the application.

The deadline for applications is Thursday 25th September at 16:00 and the successful candidates will be contacted within 24 hours. Applications received after this time will not be included. The successful candidate must be available to meet for the first time on Saturday 27th September at 13:30.  Please note due to the increase in applications for all dogs and limited resource we will not contact unsuccessful candidates or give individual feedback.

Completed application forms and landlord permissions if applicable must be emailed to nicola@stokenchurchdogrescue.org.uk with ‘Tucker' in the subject bar or hand your completed form into reception.

Emails sent to other addresses will not be considered.

A Dog Carer will assess your application based on the information provided on the pre-adoption form.

MORE ABOUT TUCKER

Tucker was signed over to SDR after his previous owner faced the challenging and emotional decision to find him a new home. This difficult choice was due to an unavoidable house move where pets were not allowed.

WHAT TUCKER NEEDS…

• An owner with working dog breed experience in order to provide a lifestyle full of stimulation and enrichment to occupy his busy mind and soak up some of his boundless energy
• A physically fit owner to manage his on-lead pulling
• Secure garden for fun and games. Scent work would be great!
• An owner who can manage his overly intrusive approaches to other dogs and remove him when he ignores any escalating rebuffs

The adoption fee for Tucker is £250.00
