If you are interested in adopting Boy, you will need to register your interest by filling in and returning one of our pre-adoption questionnaires.

If you live in rented accommodation, in addition to the completed pre-adoption questionnaire please include written permission from your landlord or housing authority, confirming that they are happy for you to keep a dog in the property. If you already have a dog/s the permission must state the number of dogs allowed – without this we cannot include the application.

Completed application forms and landlord permissions if applicable must be emailed to nicola@stokenchurchdogrescue.org.uk with ‘Boy' in the subject bar or hand your completed form into reception.

Applications will close Monday 7th September at 4pm.  We will then aim to contact the successful candidate within 24 hours.

 Boy can be a sesnisitve young lad, but is highly motivated by food and this is the way to his heart - once he knows you he will be your friend for life!

WHAT’S GREAT ABOUT BOY? 

• Can live with children age 16 years and over

• He can have some canine walking buddies

• Boy loves fuss and attention

• Incredibly food motivated which is great for training

• He will enjoy going on lots of long walks and adventures with his new family

WHAT BOY NEEDS…

• A family that is around most of the time, until he is fully settled into the home life

• New owners to help Boy with his reactivity towards other dogs and people

• Owners with experience of nervous/ anxious dogs

• Owners who will continue training and help build his confidence

• Potential adopters will need to meet Boy a minimum of 4 times

The adoption fee for Boy is £300.00
