Loveable Loki found himself with us after his previous owners could no longer give him the care he needed. Loki is a sensitive soul and many things in kennels can scare him; metal bowls moving across the floor…scary, doors shutting… scary. He would love to have a quiet household to call home.

People & Personality - Loki is nothing but an oversized pup who needs a family who can build up his confidence in the world. He is a little shy when initially meeting a new person but after a few sniffs he quickly warms up and then all his manners will fly out the window and he will jump all over them, so be careful as he may accidentally knock you over. Loki is a comical goofball at heart who loves to play and run about and investigate, he even enjoys a cuddle.

Training - Loki is 1 year old and has a few basics but these are not that reliable. He will very much need people who are prepared to put the work in with his training, this will include building his confidence and helping him become more neutral in all environments, working on his humping and overexcitement behaviour, and recall before allowing him off-lead in open areas along with most other basic training.

Home alone - Although Loki's previous owners have said he is ok when being left home alone, we still suggest the time is built up slowly while adjusting to a new home.

Food- Loki really enjoys his food and will make sure he polishes off all his meals. Food will be a good way of motivating him to do some training, so you could always weigh out his daily food allowance and use this for training.

Other Animals - Loki has met a few dogs here, he tends to be better off walking on the lead as when off the lead he can at times become boisterous or rough. He also will require a lot of 1-1 training, so we do feel it is best for him to be the only pet in the home.

Type of home - Loki is looking for a house with access to a fully enclosed garden with at least 6-foot fencing.

Overall Loki is looking for a family who are willing to put lots of time and effort into him. With the right people, there is no doubt Loki will bring plenty of love and laughter into your home. He is looking for a family who have either large dog or bully breed experience.

The adoption fee for Loki is £200
