Nealy was born on site along with 9 brothers and sisters on the 21st January 2013. Sadly when Nealy was just 8 months old she was returned to us due to her behaviour around new people.
Nealy is the most loving and affectionate girl once she knows and trusts you. But there are many things in life that worry her; these can be simple things like new toys, objects in random places and new people.
Nealy has a wonderful bond with the staff here and loves nothing more than having cuddles and pretending she’s a lap dog, trying with all her might to sneak in kisses. When you approach her kennel, she will run off to find a toy to great you with and her whole body will be wiggling from side to side with love and excitement to greet her carers.
Nealy unfortunately ruptured her cruciate ligament in her right leg and had to surgery to repair back in October 2016. Recently when she was playing in the meadows she ruptured the cruciate in her left leg. On the 18th September 2019, Nealy had the operation to repair this. She is now on very strict rest, with just short lead walks for toilet breaks in order for it to heal. Nealy is on long term joint supplements and pain relief when required.
