Meet Little Eddie – A True Gentleman in His Golden Years!

Little Eddie may be a senior, but he still walks with a spring in his step and has a lot of personality. He has adjusted well to life in the kennel, often found peacefully snoozing in his bed or observing the world from the window. Although he can be a bit shy initially, he warms up quickly, especially when treats are involved!

Eddie enjoys a gentle stroll and walks well on lead. He’s calm around traffic and most dogs but may bark at larger males now and then. Off lead, he loves to explore and sniff about, though his recall is a work in progress.

He’s great with people and has an easy-going, independent nature. He responds well to being handled and is comfortable at the vet's as well. While he isn't particularly interested in toys, food is most definitely the way to his heart. He will thrive in a calm household where he can relax and enjoy companionship, making his senior years truly special.

Eddie cannot live with cats, but he may get along with another friendly, tolerant dog. He is friendly and confident around other dogs; however, his interactions may require some management due to his occasional inappropriate interest, especially with female dogs. Although he generally responds to a firm "no," he can be quite persistent.

Overall, Eddie is a gentle, older gent who just wants a new family to call his own.  One where he can go for nice walks, have a potter around an enclosed garden and then chill out and snooze in a comfortable bed.

Eddie will require a minimum of two visits from everyone in the household ahead of the adoption process and would be ideal for someone who has previously owned a dog.
