Volunteer - Website Design and copy

The SDR website plays an important part in supporting our operations to give our rescue dogs the best chance of a suitable home and aid our fundraising. 

We are looking for a volunteer who can help shape how we present ourselves online to people looking to rehome a rescue dog in need of a second chance, and with each success we can then continue to rescue and rehome more dogs in need of our help.

With the right skills you will be able to show case the value of our work and why people should support SDR with fundraising, membership, legacies and donations, to make our long term growth sustainable.

Your input will shape how our vital work and service is presented to our stakeholders and funders and the general public, so that we can reach a wider community.  

We are looking for someone with

• good relevant skills and experience
• a creative approach to engage readers 
• good communication skills to provide engaging copy and aid collaboration
• attention to detail
• an inquisitive approach to research

On this temporary project you will work mainly with our Marketing Trustee and our small in house team who cover administration, fundraising and dog care. This is an unpaid position and we are unable to cover travel or other out-of-pocket expenses.
